FREE Books.....who doesn't love FREE!

Having recently become a member of the “Mimi Club,” I was thrilled to discover that my grandchildren were registered for a fantastic FREE program called Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. This program provides a new book each month to children from birth until age five. It was exciting to imagine they would have their collection of 60 books by the time they began kindergarten, as they eagerly awaited their “personal mail” each month.

My excitement grew when I joined the United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties and discovered I would oversee the local Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program. Can you believe it? The very same program that I had praised and cherished for my grandchildren, I now have the opportunity to help local children create their libraries! We currently have over 5000 children enrolled in Wayne and Holmes County, which continues to grow.

Here's how it works: If you have a child under five, you can enroll them here: www.uwwh.org/get-books Your child’s first book will arrive approximately eight weeks after enrollment. If you move, please update your address by calling 330-264-5576. If you move without updating your address, the books will be returned to us, and your child will miss out on future books.
